Job Profile:
Medical VA at Wishup is a remote full-time employee that works for Wishup and is deployed to engage with one or more US-based clients.
The role is remote and full-time (not a freelancing assignment)
The role would require working in the US time zone
Job Role & Responsibility for these Online jobs
Ensure that all patient information is accurate and complete and request any missing patient information.
Obtain and review referrals and authorizations for treatments.
Confirm patient benefits and insurance eligibility.
Follow and adhere to all regulations and guidelines set by state programs, and HMO/PPO, etc
Transfer insurance claims and billing data to billing software.
Update billing software with rate changes.
Create both paper and electronic copies of documentation.
Develop and maintain a tracking system of incoming and late payments.
Follow up on late payments and initiate late payment notices to relevant parties.
Work with personal information and maintain patient confidentiality.
