RBI JE Exam Pattern 2023


The RBI JE Selection Process begins with a computer-based written test. Candidates from both the Civil and Electrical domains will take the examination online. The following sections summarize the main points of the written examination:


The written test for both the Civil and Electrical streams will have four sections. The General English and Reasoning papers will be the same, while the Engineering Discipline Paper 1 and 2 questions will be totally based on their syllabus.


Except for English, the CBT questions will be multilingual for each section.


The written test will include objective questions.


Candidates will have 150 minutes to finish the exam. However, sectional timings for each section will be communicated later.


Candidates will receive one point for each correct answer in the General English and Reasoning sections. While each question in the Engineering Discipline will be worth 2.5 marks. In addition, incorrect responses will result in a 1/4 marks reduction from the total score.


If the examination is held in many sessions or shifts, the marks will be normalized.

Candidates who achieve the RBI JE Cut Off in the written test as determined by the bank will be invited to participate in the LPT, the second step of the selection process. The Language Proficiency Test determines if the candidate is fluent in the official language of the state from which he has applied. At this step, candidates are given printed materials in the official language that they must speak, translate, and comprehend. The LPT is a qualifying test.
