The candidates must have a 12th qualification from a recognized Board/University.
Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with avg min 50 percent marks in aggregate and 50 percent marks in English. OR
Passed 3 yrs Diploma Course in Engg (Mech/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ CS/ IT/ Instrumentation Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50 percent marks in aggregate and 50 percent marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/10th/ssc, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR
Passed 2 yrs Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics & Math with 50 percent marks in aggregate and 50 percent marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).
Other Than Science Subjects
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subject with overall minimum 50% marks and 50% marks in English. OR
Passed 2 yrs vocational course with overall minimum 50% marks and 50% marks in English in vocational course or in Intermediate/10th/sslc if English is not a subject in Vocational Course

Financial Assistance in Case of Duty-Related Tragedies

Death on Duty: In the event of an Agniveer's demise while on duty, a one-time ex-gratia amount of up to ₹44 lakhs is provided, in addition to the insurance cover of ₹48 lakhs, the Seva Nidhi of ₹10.04 lakhs, and the salary of the remaining service period.
Disability on Duty: If an Agniveer sustains a disability while on duty, they are eligible for a one-time ex-gratia amount of up to ₹44 lakhs, along with the Seva Nidhi of ₹10.04 lakhs and the salary for the remaining service period.

Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
