Education Qualification for This Central Government jobs:

Govt Jobs Eligibility Details: Applicants should be completed the following education criteria below are the educational qualifications to look for employment as declared by the Central government Recruitment 2023

Applicants should possess an 10th Standard Pass from a Recognized University or an Institution.
Canteen Attendant - Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board
Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) - (i) Possession of a valid Driving License for Motor Cars; (ii) Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor-defects in vehicle) ; (iii) Experience of driving a Motor Car for at least three years; and (iv) 10th class pass from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Halwai-cum-Cook - Essential Qualification: (a) 10th class pass with certificate or Diploma in Catering (b) Experience:- Two years in a Government Department Undertaking. (c) A Trade Skill Test for cooking shall be conducted to assess suitability of the candidate.

Note: The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection, the Competent Authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates belonging to these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.

Clerk - (a) 12th Class pass or equivalent with Commerce from a recognized University or Board. (b) A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer (35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi correspond to 10500 key depression per hour or 9000 key depression per hour on an average of 5 key depression for each word.

Note: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority in the case of candidate otherwise well qualified.

Selection Process for tax assistant exam

The Selection Committee will review the applications received, and the short-listed candidates who meet the eligibility criteria outlined above as of the application deadline will be invited to a Trade / Skill Test / Typing Test, as applicable, for the respective posts. The aforementioned Tests will only be staged in Chennai. Short-listed candidates will be contacted for document verification after passing the aforementioned tests.
Hall Tickets for the aforementioned tests will be provided through Speed Post.
The results of the aforementioned tests will be exhibited on the Notice Board of Customs, O/o the Principal Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Chennai, as well as on the Departmental Website, https://chennaicustoms.gov.in, but will not be published in newspapers.
Selected candidates will be submitted to a Medical Fitness Test, Character Antecedents Verification, and may be posted anywhere within the jurisdiction of the Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Chennai.
